MIKUR supplies Redispersible Polymer Powder (RDP), also known as RDP Powder, RDP Polymer Powder and Redispersible Latex Powder. The products are produced from modified polymer emulsions by spray drying and related processes. After mixing with water, RDP can redisperse to form a stable polymer dispersion for use in cement-based and gypsum-based dry-mix mortar. The product range includes VAE Redispersible Polymer Powder, VAE Polymer Powder and Redispersible Powder grades for dry-mix mortar applications.
RDP can improve bond strength, flexibility, crack resistance, water resistance, workability and durability. It is widely used in Tile Adhesive, exterior wall insulation systems, Wall Putty, Self-Leveling Mortar, Repair Mortar, Waterproof Mortar and other dry-mix mortar systems.

MIKUR recently completed a 28-ton Redispersible Polymer Powder (RDP) export order to Iran. The customer specified requirements for adhesion, flexibility, water resistance and workability based on local climate conditions and the actual formulation.

MIKUR Waterproof RDP is developed for waterproofing mortar applications. It can reduce mortar water absorption while improving hydrophobicity, adhesion and impermeability.
At the same dosage of 3%, mortar water absorption decreased from 6.5% to 3.8% when MIKUR Waterproof RDP was used, a reduction of approximately 41.5%.
The product can also improve adhesion and impermeability in rigid waterproof mortar while supporting the bonding and impact-resistance requirements of render mortar.
